With Love in Our Hearts...
Hazel and Chris are high school sweethearts since 1986 and escaped the 'rat race' of Long Island, NY by moving to the Catskill Mountains in 1996 to be closer to the Natural world.
Hazel chose a Nature-oriented path early in childhood and has been practicing Witchcraft for nearly ten years. Her passion is Avalon Moon, and crafting magick which she is currently writing several books on. She also loves to read, paint and write about ancient history, Nature and Witchcraft. Hazel is a Second Degree Reiki Practitioner, a Sister in a local coven since 2003, and teaches classes in Witchcraft.
Chris has the indispensable (and never-ending) position of continuously updating and maintaining the two properties they own - Avalon Moon's Main Street location and their woodland home for which he is setting the groundwork for alternate energy. Chris is a First Degree Reiki Practitioner and is also employed at the local college. He and Hazel cherish the time they spend together and love the outdoors.

Avalon Moon's Enchanted Emporium Life-long Dedication...
Tucked away in the magickal forests of the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York, Avalon Moon, Inc. was Crafted by Hazel Dunlin.
The company began supplying the world with "Wytchie Thyngs" in May 2000 (then called Pagan Pretties) as an online shop. Not long after, Pagan Pretties was vending at local fairs and markets. It was during these events that many customers commented "Do you have a store we can visit?" and "You really need to open a store. There's no place in the area that offers what you do!" Hazel and Chris decided, "If a store is what they want, then a store they shall have... a store like no other!"
In June 2003 Pagan Pretties changed its name to Avalon Moon when it incorporated and on Memorial Day weekend 2005 Avalon Moon's storefront had its grand opening. Avalon Moon is well received in the community (locally and far reaching) and the company is successful - thanks to its customers and a passion for the concept it represents.

The folks at Avalon Moon have the utmost respect and appreciation for all beneficent religions, Pagan and non-Pagan equally, so long as the methods and practices harm none.
